I love Phil Kneen’s photos. At first glance, one may think there is nothing special about the photos, that they look like ordinary snapshots.
But if you really look at his photos, you notice that his models, his subjects emit so much emotion, expression and that he has captured it.

I use the D800E and 35mm for 90% of my personal and professional work. I think the 35mm is a perfect ‘Goldilocks’ lens – not too wide and not too telephoto, such a versatile focal length, with careful use you can make it look wider than it is, but you can also make it look as if a shot was taken on a 50mm. I did buy the Nikon 35-70 2.8, but it never sees the light of day from one week to the next.
