We have had lovely rain for days now here in these Santa Cruz Mountains. But it still may not be enough to penetrate our thirsty California earth. I snapped this photo last week when we had our summer days. I caught a pigeon coming down for a landing, while the other was swooping down for a take off. It is slightly noticeable at the edge of the roof.
