The Weekly Photo Challenge: Beginning

Beginning, the weekly photo challenge, the first for 2014.

For me, light represents the beginning of things to come. Mysterious in that without light I am in the dark and cannot see. And when my mind is in the dark, I cannot see without that light that shines from within.

Gear: iPadMini. App: Snapseed
The first image was edited with an iPodTouch5. I took the second image and used Snapseed to blur out all but the light.

What turns you on?

See how others see beginning:

      • great photos – and like the two arches on the side of the light in the second photo most…
also, had to share that I watched a documentary last year – a really good science one – and the whole conclusion they reached was that everything started with “light” – so indeed a very nice take on the the word…

      • Thank you for checking out the photos and leaving a message. I’m happy to hear that I am in line with science.
