The original door from a church, which burned down during the 1906
San Francisco Earthquake & Fire, still stands under the roof of
what we know today as the infamous, City Lights Bookstore
located on Columbus and Clay Streets.

Over the years, one of my passions have been photos of doors. Today, I discovered The Legion of Door Whores, which first opened in April 2012, and it has prospered ever since.This is my first contribution to the existing collection while I await membership as a “door whore”.
