
Today is Chotrul Düchen, the ‘Festival of Miracles’ one of the four major Buddhist holidays. On this highly auspicious day the effects of positive (or negative) actions are multiplied ten million times. It occurs on the full moon (15th) of the first Tibetan month, which is called Bumgyur Dawa. The first 15 days of the TIbetan lunar year celebrates the15 days on which, in order to increase the merit and the devotion of future disciples, Buddha displayed a different miracle.
